Dear Resident 🚨 Community Alert – Vehicle Interference 🚨 Residents are advised of an incident involving vehicle interference at a roadside location of Lumb Lane near to the PAAK ASIAN food Store. On Monday 20th April at approx 0350hrs. 🔹 An unknown suspect approached a vehicle that was parked, locked, and left secure.
🔹 The front passenger‑side window was damaged by unknown means.
🔹 Entry was gained to the vehicle and an untidy search of the interior was carried out.
🔹 No property was stolen.
🔹 The suspect then made off in an unknown direction.
✅ Vehicle Crime Prevention AdviceAlways lock vehicles and ensure windows and sunroofs are fully closed.Remove all valuables from your vehicle, including loose change, bags, and chargers.Avoid leaving any items on display that may attract attention.Park in well‑lit, busy areas where possible.Consider additional security such as car alarms, immobilisers, steering wheel locks, or CCTV coverage.Report any suspicious behaviour immediately to the police.Check nearby CCTV, dashcams, or doorbell cameras that may have captured suspicious activity.If you have any information that may assist, please contact the police via the appropriate reporting channels.
